The problem with restoration

Why rebuilding after damage feels so hard

Because most homeowners end up managing three or four different companies at the worst possible time.

A mitigation company dries the house and leaves. A roofer handles the roof. You’re left to find a contractor for the drywall, flooring and cabinets, while trying to make sense of an insurance estimate written in a language nobody speaks.

  • Multiple contractors pointing fingers at each other
  • Damage missed in the insurance estimate, then discovered mid-job
  • Storm-chasers who take a deposit and disappear

Houston Rebuilders was built to fix that. We handle the emergency, the documentation and the complete rebuild, so you deal with one local team that answers for all of it.

How it works

Four steps from damaged to done

Whether it’s a burst pipe at 2am or a kitchen you’ve hated for ten years, the process is clear from day one.

1

We respond fast

Emergency calls get a crew out to tarp, board up or start water extraction to stop the damage from spreading. Remodels start with a free consultation.

2

We document everything

Photos, moisture readings and measurements of every affected area, so nothing gets missed in your estimate or your insurance claim.

3

You get a fixed price

A detailed, line-item written estimate. If insurance is involved, we meet your adjuster on-site and support the claim with documentation.

4

We rebuild it better

One project manager runs the job from permits to final walkthrough, and every project is backed by our written workmanship warranty.

Every project includes

Your claim should cover all of the damage

Adjusters see dozens of homes a week after a big storm. Damage that isn’t documented is damage that usually isn’t paid for. We make sure your file is complete.

  • Detailed photo documentation and moisture mapping of every affected area
  • Line-item estimates in the same format insurers use
  • We meet your adjuster on-site and document hidden damage found during repairs

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with my insurance company?

Yes. We work with all major insurance carriers. We document the damage, provide a detailed line-item estimate, and meet your adjuster on-site. It’s your home, so you get to choose who rebuilds it, even if your insurer recommends someone else.

How fast can you get here in an emergency?

For active water, roof openings and post-fire board-ups, we dispatch a crew as quickly as possible, often the same day. During major regional storms demand spikes, so request help early and we’ll give you an honest arrival window.

Will you waive my deductible?

No, and you should be wary of anyone who offers. In Texas it’s illegal for a contractor to waive, absorb or rebate an insurance deductible. We’ll be upfront about what you owe and help you plan for it.

Do you only do restoration, or remodeling too?

Both. Many homeowners use a rebuild as a chance to upgrade, like a new kitchen layout while the cabinets are being replaced anyway. We also do kitchen, bath and whole-home remodels with no damage involved at all.
